Light Box

This is my homemade light box. Nothing but a used envelope case and some tissue paper taken from foam board. Both from work. Both free. The white seemless background is a piece of 11.25 x 26 inches and is just taped at the top of the box, so it can easily be swapped out for any other color paper. Same with the diffused sides. It also has a big hole cut out of the top to shoot through or to set on top of something. I usually use my flashes at about 1/16th power, lower if I want a shallow depth of field. I like to mix up my lighting, but this is a nice little tool to have. It was used on the last two posts.
