Brunch at Mediterranean Grill, Helena, MT

My dad got back from a golf trip last Sunday, so we met him at the Mediterranean Grill for brunch. It was easily the best brunch in Helena, and in the top brunches I've ever had, including some uppity places. $16 got us all we could eat from the buffet of a Mediterranean delights. From feta cheese and fresh cut veggies, two soups, three salads, a pasta salad, hummus, fresh baked pizzas, roasted herb potatoes, fruit and a few different desserts plus a choice of main course off a set menu of about 8-10 items. I ordered the frittata, fresh made and served in a mini cast iron skillet with strings of delicious onions at the bottom. I honestly can't wait for next Sunday. Brunch served until 2.

Drink with Kevin

Kevin is off once again, this time to Chicago to audition for the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Had a few beers at the Windbag to see him off. Godspeed, good sir.

Fried Chicken on a Biscuit

I made some fried chicken sort of based on Thomas Keller's recipe with a few extra spices. Soaked the chicken in the brine and buttermilk for two days then fried the up and served on a biscuit with a slice of thick American cheese.
