From scratch cream of celery soup, basic cream base soup, heavy whipping cream, olive oil, onion, leeks, shallots w/ veggie broth instead of meat based broth add celery for flavor and texture. Peas, carrots, corn and vegetarian meat substitue of your choice. Spices, sea salt, pepper, garlic salt, lawry's to name a few. Mashed potatos w/ cheddar cheese or cheese substitute it's really all about preference.
Boil your potatos, mash and season how you like 'em and set aside.
Make up your cream soup base with celery added towards the end.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Brown meat stuff and some onion, add carrots, peas, corn and soup base. Season to taste.
Pour the veggie and soup mix into the pan, layer with potatos, sprinkle with cheese or not cheese and you put it in the oven for 30-40 min on 350 untill cheese and potatos ae golden brown. Enjoy!!! I know we did.

R.I.P. Rialto Burgers

The Rialto has closed its kitchen doors. No longer will it be a bar and grill, it is now a lonely bar. They have decided to sell their kitchen to Lucca's new location next door. It's a shame, but at least its sister location, The Suds Hut, is still going strong, besides, I always liked Suds Hut burgers a bit more.
