Amsterdam. 1999 or 2000, I don't remember exactly. When I was in Prague I would go to Amsterdam every month or so, just to hang out for a few days and relax from the relaxation of Praha. Amsterdam not only boasts the best pizza I've had, (and I don't really care for "American" Pizza like Pizza Hut or Domino's or Chicago style deep dish) but also the best fries, just a few store fronts up from the pizza place, I don't remember the name of.
I do have this photo of the interior of the place, an Italian eatery, right on Damrak Street. My favorite had ham and banana. So. Damn. Good. Worth a trip to Amsterdam!
