Eddy's Burgers, but a Cheese Steak: Medford, OR
When we first stopped by Eddy's I noticed they had a Cheese Steak. But what really caught my eye was that they used cheese Sauce, rather than American or, shutter, provolone. Aimee is always up for a good cheese steak since I introduced her to a real Philly while in New York at the Manhattan Deli in Brooklyn right on Manhattan Ave, up the street from the White Castle in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This wasn't a cheese steak in the traditional sense, but it is a hell of a lot closer than one you get in Montana. Roasted red peppers, pepperoncini's, grilled onions and a delicious cheese sauce. Between the fries, amazing cheese steaks and burgers, Eddy's has quickly become one of my favorite Medford eating spots. (You can't get a better burger than Jasper's, just down the road on Riverside, but still a decent burger.)
