Big Dipper Ice Cream is the newest edition to downtown Helena. They opened last week, delayed after a fire, but I finally managed to make my way up there last night. I met the owner, shown in the photo on the right, and she is a super cool lady. She fed me sample after sample of delicious ice cream. My favorite so far, Thai Peanut Curry, was just off the hook with flavor. Like a peanut butter ice cream with a subtle aftertaste of curry. They also make a beer ice cream from a local Montana brewery, but only seasonally, and it isn't the season I guess. I highly recommend dropping by for a scoop. Right downtown Helena on the walking mall.
